….while Premier Bartlett would like Tasmanians to believe that planting blue gums on the east coast will ameliorate the swift parrot species extinction threat …..at least Minister Llewellyn is approaching some realistic assessment of the likelihood of the parrots survival while woodchipping of nesting habitat continues .

No mature blue gums with nesting hollows = no nesting swift parrots = no breeding = no species in the future

What an indictment of our ’so-called leaders’…..they are failing this state!
